This is similar to the loud-booing habit of people in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, or some parts of Rajasthan in India. When I went to China, I found Chinese people to speak very loudly and emotionally, almost shouting. If people of some regions in India shout loudly, it does not mean that they are fighting; the same applies to Chinese people; I feel, shouting is the Chinese emotionally communication style.
Often on a train ride, I would think that the couple sitting next to me in the train were arguing violently and were about to fight, but the guide explained to me that they were just talking in a normal tone.
Do the Chinese express themselves violently in this world?
The Chinese shouting habit is a style that emerged after a long agricultural economy and its Cultural revolution. The usual way to communicate over long distances in large farms was to shout, which increased after the Chinese Cultural Revolution.
Chinese leaders were mostly peasant leaders who were naturally prone to shouting. It is possible that people adopted their style. If anything, people in ancient China probably spoke in a very calm tone, like South Koreans and Japanese.
At the table, the Chinese not only talk loudly but are also not ashamed of burping and slurping. They think it’s natural, and there’s no point in stopping. They can even talk with their mouths full. And they are not even embarrassed by this moment.
I saw here that even in the Celestial Empire, children, and not only them, defecate in the streets. Such a scene is common in India too. By the way, there children up to a certain age are allowed to do anything. And if they are naughty, no one comments on them.
Whatever it is, the Chinese have gone way ahead and are competing directly with the US.
