The real Harry Potter was born in the British Empire into a large household that included seven other children in addition to him. He had a shoemaker for a father who was injured in the First World War. Due to the family’s difficult circumstances, Harry dropped out of school at the age of 14 and began working at a carpet factory.

The problem is that the factory made meagre payments, which did not help. Harry came to the conclusion that he had to join the army after a couple of years.
